How do I create the letter H using a compass and straightedge?

    draw the line AB then draw the large arc with the compass span about 3/4 of the length AB. Then keeping the compass span the same draw 4 more arcs as shown, then draw the vertical line. The other 3 vertical lines are drawn in the same way keeping the compass span the same.
