    I do have 1 question regarding the negative current which means direction. If I get something like that then that means my starting I_1 = I_2 + I_3 was incorrect right?

    instead it should have been I_2 = I_1 + I_3 , right?

    you can do either way depending on the equation, the simplest way saves time.
