    3 * 9 + 6/2 - (3 + 2) parenthesis first.. 3 * 9 + 6/2 - 5 now do multiplication/division from left to right 27 + 3 - 5 now do addition/subtraction from left to right 30 - 5 answer is : 25

    (3x - 6) ^ (x-2)...when x = 4 (3(4) - 6) ^ (4-2) = (12 - 6) ^ 2 = 6^2 = 36
