The profits of L'Hopital can be represented by the function f(x)=-3x²+18x-4, where y is the amount of profit in millions of dollars and x is the number of years of operation. Maggie L'Hopital the ceo of the company realizes her company is on the downturn and wishes to sell it before the company starts losing money. To find out when that will happen she graphed the function in the coordinate plane using an online graphing calculator. Then she found the axis of symmetry the y intercept the x intercepts and the coordinate of the vertex of the graph of the function.
