Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Distribute the negative sign to x and 4 x 4 + 2x + 7 A good way to understand this is that there is an invisible 1 next to that negative sign, outside the parentheses, to the left. 1(x+4) It distributes and the 1 multiplies to x and 4 Thus getting x 4 Now we continue

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0x 4 + 2x + 7 Rearrange the problem to help clear things up x + 2x 4 + 7 This change is to help clarify what weʻre doing. We will be adding the xʻs together, and adding the regular numbers together
