A doesn't regard to periodization at all. Neither is B correct. That leaves C and D. C seems a bit specific, regarding to the leaders only. That leaves D. So D, I'd have to say. It seems the most likely answer.

The New Kingdom spanned from 16th century BC to the 11th century BC. The Ptolemaic dynasty lasted from 305 BC to 30 BC. The Middle Kingdom began in 2,000 BC to 1,700 BC. And the Old Kingdom was the title given to the 3rd millennium BC. So the answer is D, the Old Kingdom.
