It basically just involves drawing vertical lines down the graph to try and figure out if at any section, the line cuts the graph more than once. so for e.g. dw:1443712363946:dw

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2so see how at A, the vertical line test succeeds, and at no point, the graph is cut more than once by any vertical line, no matter where it may be, but at B, the line cuts sections of the graph more than once... so if the vertical line test passes, the graph is known as a function, if it fails, it can be classified as a relation
