    okay so assume the parabola y = x^2, we know the vertex of this lies on (0, 0) and when we are asked to draw y = x^2 + 2, we simply move it up two units |dw:1443714583056:dw| , so we can do a similar thing here, we add however many units up or down we want our graph to go
