    Try using PEMDAS first. Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction

    So, first you would do (7-4) and you would get 3 from that.

    Okay, so from the steps I gave you, you can say the first thing you did was use PEMDAS. Then you subtracted what was in the parentheses which was (7-4) and got 3. Then you multiplied 2*3 and got 6 and added 9+2 together and got 11, then you added 6+11 and got 17.

    B is the answer. Because if you add -30+9 you get -21 and if you subtract -21 from -30 you get 9.
