If it wanted the value of the expression, "of the base" wouldn't be there. And the value of that particular expression is not \[5*5*5*5*5*5*5*5*5*5*5\]but rather \[(5)*(5)*(5)*(5)*(5)*(5)*(5)*(5)*(5)*(5)*(5)\]
