On Monday, Lucy’s bank balance was –$164. On Tuesday, her bank balance was –$17. What was the change in Lucy’s bank balance from Monday to Tuesday? $

    This seems like basic math using negative integers. If Lucy's account had -$164, and then the next day she only had -$17, did she add or subtract money from her account?

    Well if we think about it, which amount is more? -164 or -17? Remember these are negative numbers so the closest number to 0 would be more
