    I am taking pre-calculus at 9 grade but Im not sure that I should take Calc AB during the summer because I was told it was easier than pre-calc. Or should I take it next year

    hmm, an A (90+) would be better, but if you're willing to put in the work, then you can consider going for it what kind of grade are you aiming for in AP Calc AB?

    you can go for it if you feel ready, I would suggest getting ahead by picking up a AP calc book

    I'm in college right now the last math class I took was Calculus II (with Linear Algebra on the side)

    Hm, ok, I remember I took AP Calc BC in high school, got an A. I don't know if your pre-calc class is different, all I remember is that AP calc was a bit easier, and there's a lot in pre-calc that doesn't get used in ap calc
