simplify this expression 5 + 2(3x – 2) + 13

    use the distribuion property first to simplify 2*(3x-2)

    an extra 2 is there...it should be: 5 + 2(3x – 2) + 13 5 + 6x -4 + 13 Now collect like terms...

    NO! never add numbers and letters like that ever again :) lol only add things that look the same .. only add numbers to other numbers.. and add terms with only x to other terms with only x .... and terms with x^2 only to other terms with x^2
