Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0so just as you can't solve \[3x^2 + 4x^3\] you can't solve this immediately either, you have to make sure that both exponents have the same powers before you can simply add their "coefficients" (aka 4.5 and 3.4) do you understand what I mean by this?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0so we should ensure that both our exponents have the same power, in this case, is easiest if they both have 13 as their powers, so you can convert 4.5 x 10^14 into an exponent with a power of 13 by multiplying 4.5 by 10, so you get 45 x 10^13
