    c 9 is the answer because -17 would be adding negitives and b17 would be adding and a -9 would be the same way

    Since the number -13 is being added to x, and you want x alone, you need to add the additive inverse of -13, which is 13, to cancel out the -13. You must add the same to both sides of an equation, so add 13 to both sides of the equation. |dw:1443807975893:dw| What is -4 + 13 ?
