In my Japanese 'live lessons', everybody is able to translate pretty much everything the teacher can throw at us, but not me. I only know 6 hiragana characters by heart so far, so what am I doing wrong? Do I just need to write the pictures and various translated phrases OVER and OVER and OVER until I got it right?
