What are scale drawings? can you give an example?

    A drawing that shows a real object with accurate sizes reduced or enlarged by a certain amount (called the scale). The scale is shown as the length in the drawing, then a colon (":"), then the matching length on the real thing.

    lets say we have a box that needs to hold some items... the items are 2 feet by 3 feet the box has to be bigger that 2x3 so you would draw the box and use grids 9lets say 1 grid is one inch) and use the same grid for the object.|dw:1443820423621:dw|
