What would be the equation for this?
A factory starts with 340 million items, and they make 1.7 million more on average every hour. Every 2 hours, they make 1% more than they did in the previous hours 2 hours before. Simple, I know a fraction and/or 0.01is in there somewhere >_>

"1.7 million more on average every hour."
Does that mean that the hourly production increases by 1.7 million every hour?
Hourly production is not exactly 1.7 million per hour, so they would be error. But, I'm just going to assume that 1.7 is the production rate for now - since I wouldn't know how to use an average.
I am just struggling with the intepretation of the problem. It is written a bit abstruse for me.....
