Just because you're a homosexual doesn't mean that your body changes along with it. Your genetic make-up is established while you're developing in the womb. You don't even have a sexuality then.
so XX or XY
XY cuz gay people are anyways MAles. They have the same organs ! SO XY >_< @imqwerty
How as in ? I'm sure. Gay means they like / love men right? It's just a feeling . It's all about hormones not about the sexuality !!! That's obvious and sure
how do u knw !! like hey ur jst sayin no proof like we hav in math :D
Homosexuality (from Ancient Greek ὁμός, meaning "same", and Latin sexus, meaning "sex") is romantic attraction, sexual attraction or sexual behavior between members of the same sex or gender. -Wikipedia- Since u wanted proof -_-
@imqwerty Transgenders don't have classification based on XX and XY. But we have LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) active universally. which defines...all those interesting genders.
@Koikkara But he was talking about gay
@Rushwr LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) includes gay too..
Yeh I know Trans is something else. Completely different story.
this guy can't be serious...
which guy @aaronq
you. sorry if that seem offensive, it just seems like you're trolling.. though i guess it's a legitimate question to someone that doesn't know anything about genetics
This is a legitimate question.
isn't this over yet ?
they are "XX" XX" :P
how tho ༼•͟ ͜ •༽
@aaronq We must feed the troll some more obviously :D So lets start with the most obvious for the general of whole science: We don't need to prove anything, we only try disprove our hypothesis, if we can't disprove it then we must assume that our hypothesis is for now true. This is basic philosophy of science in terms of Popper and applies to experimental sciences. Do a karyotype analysis and you have discarded your hypothesis homosexuals are different :P Futhermore I will choose to laugh at you when you choose to say "jst sayin no proof like we hav in math :D" You "proof" is based on the axioms of mathematics and even they are not complete as there are mathematical laws that are true, but can not be proven using mathematical methods. So in terms of proof, I would dare to say math can prove just as much as we can. The ball is now to you sir, how would you argue that even 1+1=2 is true?
1st you tell me this-->what is 1 and 2 and those symbols according to your question.
We can simply assume they are numbers that belong to a continuous quantity of integers.
Also since you love proof so much: The proof math is incomplete: Gödel, K. (2006). Über formal unentscheidbare Sätze der Principia Mathematica und verwandter Systeme I. Monatshefte Für Mathematik, 149(1), 1-29.
Our reference for "proof" is observation in science, the mathematicians "proof" relies on the axioms. So how can we prove that homosexuals do not have different sex determining alleles than others? we simply observe it :)
hmm so by observation what result do we get? XX or XY?
Gay as in man or female?
but gays hav both man nd female female feature so y this ques?
That is a bit stereotypical to say, but okay. To be gay has something to do with your sexual orientation it may be genetic (as some scientists believe) or for whole other reasons. Gay isn't a karyotype unlike for example people with Klinefelter syndrome which has XXY.
But if you want we can do a very funny experiment which you can try go do in your spare time if you got nothing else to do: Go out and find a set of individuals which shall represent our data set (make sure to include many as you can to get closer to the mean value). Then do a karyotype analysis of all the gays you can find. Then we can make the hypothesis: Gays (females or male) DO have disomy combinations XY or XX. Then we can be very extreme and say: If you find ONE person that violates our hypothesis, you have proved all our genetics wrong and you should be rewarded for a Nobel Prize! :D Go hunt them mate!
its better to ask ya all ppl on os plz gimme data (:
what's the question
there is a question for this post right
the question is-> males are XX females are XY what about gays will they be XX or XY? or something else?
ok may i ask what are you looking for in order for the answer to be given
are you learning this stuff in biology? your not in 12 grade are you?
this was a question that came into my mind when I was in 10th and then i never asked it. So m asking it now I m in 11th rn and m a math student
cool To answer your question Gays depending if there a male will just be males females will be females there is no new gender that i ever heard of lately
oh ok :) tysm i thought they have characteristics of both
female was created by one of our ribs there for you can same were one but mankind thinks different
When an organism is XX than that is a female. XY concludes a male. If there is only 1 X, then that consists of a syndrome. What do you think would be a gay? I think it would be XXY.
Or the answer could be Epi-marks.
What if I told you that they are YX? ;P
i will ask why
@TheSmartOne what if I told you that we both were wrong? XD
then I would believe you :D
@TheSmartOne Haha, well I asked about it, and my mom told me that it stays the same. I guess my hypothosis was grossly wrong. :'(
I know that lol :P
@TheSmartOne How did you know that?
@TheSmartOne Smart, haha.
no matter if you are gay or not, if you are born a male you will be XX for the rest of your life, same for female they will be XY. There is no changing DNA and genetics.
