Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Just because you're a homosexual doesn't mean that your body changes along with it. Your genetic makeup is established while you're developing in the womb. You don't even have a sexuality then.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1XY cuz gay people are anyways MAles. They have the same organs ! SO XY >_< @imqwerty

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1How as in ? I'm sure. Gay means they like / love men right? It's just a feeling . It's all about hormones not about the sexuality !!! That's obvious and sure

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Homosexuality (from Ancient Greek ὁμός, meaning "same", and Latin sexus, meaning "sex") is romantic attraction, sexual attraction or sexual behavior between members of the same sex or gender. Wikipedia Since u wanted proof _

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0@imqwerty Transgenders don't have classification based on XX and XY. But we have LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) active universally. which defines...all those interesting genders.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.3you. sorry if that seem offensive, it just seems like you're trolling.. though i guess it's a legitimate question to someone that doesn't know anything about genetics

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2This is a legitimate question.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1@aaronq We must feed the troll some more obviously :D So lets start with the most obvious for the general of whole science: We don't need to prove anything, we only try disprove our hypothesis, if we can't disprove it then we must assume that our hypothesis is for now true. This is basic philosophy of science in terms of Popper and applies to experimental sciences. Do a karyotype analysis and you have discarded your hypothesis homosexuals are different :P Futhermore I will choose to laugh at you when you choose to say "jst sayin no proof like we hav in math :D" You "proof" is based on the axioms of mathematics and even they are not complete as there are mathematical laws that are true, but can not be proven using mathematical methods. So in terms of proof, I would dare to say math can prove just as much as we can. The ball is now to you sir, how would you argue that even 1+1=2 is true?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1We can simply assume they are numbers that belong to a continuous quantity of integers.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Also since you love proof so much: The proof math is incomplete: Gödel, K. (2006). Über formal unentscheidbare Sätze der Principia Mathematica und verwandter Systeme I. Monatshefte Für Mathematik, 149(1), 129.

Frostbite

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Our reference for "proof" is observation in science, the mathematicians "proof" relies on the axioms. So how can we prove that homosexuals do not have different sex determining alleles than others? we simply observe it :)

imqwerty
 one year ago
Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2hmm so by observation what result do we get? XX or XY?

Frostbite

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Gay as in man or female?

imqwerty

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2but gays hav both man nd female female feature so y this ques?

Frostbite
 one year ago
Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1That is a bit stereotypical to say, but okay. To be gay has something to do with your sexual orientation it may be genetic (as some scientists believe) or for whole other reasons. Gay isn't a karyotype unlike for example people with Klinefelter syndrome which has XXY.

Frostbite

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1But if you want we can do a very funny experiment which you can try go do in your spare time if you got nothing else to do: Go out and find a set of individuals which shall represent our data set (make sure to include many as you can to get closer to the mean value). Then do a karyotype analysis of all the gays you can find. Then we can make the hypothesis: Gays (females or male) DO have disomy combinations XY or XX. Then we can be very extreme and say: If you find ONE person that violates our hypothesis, you have proved all our genetics wrong and you should be rewarded for a Nobel Prize! :D Go hunt them mate!

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0When an organism is XX than that is a female. XY concludes a male. If there is only 1 X, then that consists of a syndrome. What do you think would be a gay? I think it would be XXY.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0no matter if you are gay or not, if you are born a male you will be XX for the rest of your life, same for female they will be XY. There is no changing DNA and genetics.
