Which best describes the relationship between the Church and feudal states? A) The Church and the states worked together well with little conflict. B) The Church and the states constantly struggled for supreme power. C) The states had sole control over the people and the Church's power was ceremonial. I THINK ITS C. D) The states had little power and made no decisions without the Church's input. Why did earlier historians consider the Medieval Period the "Dark Ages"? A) The time had no electricity and so it was an age that was quite dark. B) The era seemed less important than the Renaissance and the Roman Empire. I THINK IT IS B. C) Castles were very dark and did not let in much light. D) The power of the Church stamped out the many bright pagan rituals.
@texaschic101 @Nnesha @paki
the second on is B.
remember everything was based on god therefore the church in the past was even more mighty than the kingdom so it is D
for number 1
an the first one is C.
Okay. @PRAETORIAN.10 do you agree?
Is everyone sure that I am correct?
I would say for 1: D and 2: B
Okay, thank you everyone!
1. Fuedal states means from 800AD to maybe around 1500 AD, so church pretty much had absolute power over the lords and upper class, so Q1 = D in my mind
Okay great! thanks!
2. also D, called dark ages due to lots of culture being stamped out by the church
