Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam (Oasis of Peace) is a community in Israel where Jews and Muslims live together in peace. Members of the community work on special projects to educate people about peace. They work on conflicts in the Middle East and have worked with people from Northern Ireland, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and other conflict areas. This is an example of how civic participation in Israel can impact peace in other countries. Jews and Muslims in Israel are always in conflict with each other. Jews and Muslims in Israel are always in conflict with other groups.
