    This a supplementary angle (meaning that the total degree of this angle is going to be 180). Remember that a straight is actually 180 degrees. the angle of triangle DCB is 56 degrees and the other angle is unknown. so what we need to do is \[180 - 56 = x \] x = measure of angle 1
