    actually, i think she should have named the last step "Addition" instead of "combining like terms"

    and there are no errors on the Associative Property or the last one but is "combine the like terms" the right choice of words? @Vocaloid

    "combining like terms" means adding the x's together and the y's together

    actually step 2 should be the commutative property not the associative property

    commutative means switching the order of the numbers, associative means switching the location of parentheses
