Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0An article on breakingmuscle.com defined anaerobic exercises as, "Anaerobic exercise is defined as short duration, high intensity exercise lasting anywhere from merely seconds up to around two minutes. After two minutes, the body’s aerobic system kicks in. Examples of anaerobic exercise are ones that use fast twitch muscle fibers such as jumping and sprinting. By using and developing those fibers we enhance that musculature." I'm assuming that running is not considered sprinting.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Anaerobic is scientifically identified as using no free oxygen and primarily using fermentation while exercising and your muscles go through a stage of fermentation. The release of lactic acid is what makes you sore.
