    Do I first find the percentage of the box? Which is 50% then multiply it to 288, which is then equals to 144.

    Then do I multiply it to 500, or divide? I don't think I don't have the right percentage here.

    288 is at the left edge of the box 75% of the distribution is to the right of the left edge of the box and whisker plot so you multiply 0.75 by the total population
