Is the underlined word a predicate nominative or predicate adjective? Jeremy's best friend is his neighbor Thomas. ( the underlined word is neighbor )

    a predicate nominative will rename the subject and follow a linking verb. friend is your subject....neighbor is renaming the subject....Thomas is an appositive. It is a predicate nominative.
