will medal what causes acceleration gravity velocity friction energy i know its not friction nor velocity but confused on how the other 2 could make since.

    Acceleration is caused by a net force that is not zero (according to newtons second law)

    for accelerating a body force must be applied so we hve to do a work therefore Energy causes acceleration but in the case of a freely faillung bdy gravity also provides acceleration

    im going to go with energy then because i dont think gravity makes it excelerate because once its at 9.8 m/s it stops
