p  1 = 5p + 3p  8 p  1 = 8p  8 Subtract p to both sides 1 = 7p  8 Add 8 to both sides 7 = 7p Divide 7p to both sides p = 1
im sorry guys. i do online school and algebra is really hard for me, and now we are learning the two side equations. i just have a lot of trouble with it. i will give a medal for the best response again. :)
