Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1\[x^2 12x + (12/2)^2 = 5 + (12/2)^2\] = \[x^2 12x + 36 = 31\] = \[(x6)^2 = 31\] =\[x6 = \pm \sqrt31 \] therefore \[x = 6 \pm \sqrt 31\]
