There are many weakness going on Openstudy. Well, if someone wants help they are suppose to get that help, right? I just put up a question and I thought "someone" was going to guide me, but no one did. I tagged 4 or 5 people that didn't seemed busy, but they didn't help me. I went on a different website and got better help than Openstudy. Last year I'd come on and get help immediately and now I can't get that help needed. I depended on this website. It was my trusted website and now I don't know if i trust it or not. This should be fixed.

You have to understand they are millions of people with their own questions and some are in school at the moment because of the time zones and other people might not know the answer to your question. But do you still need help?.. I can guarantee you i'll try to help you out if you need me too!
Last time, I waited for 2 hours to get help and I never got that help. I left my question open with the 5 or 10 people that I tagged and turned off my computer hoping that I would get the help. I turned on my computer the next day and still hadn't received ANY help. I waited tagged more people and never that the help. I even waited for 2 weeks and NEVER received the help needed.
I know @PrincessHush there is a million of other people who are searching for help but I left my question open and never received the help I wanted. I left that question open for 2 weeks like I said.

I'm truly sorry you had to go through that.. I will admit this website doesn't have the tutors that other websites do. Back whenever I was in 7-8 grade I used to go to this website and it was for free and there were tutors there. I am not really sure what the name of the website is now since I am much older and forgot but i'll suggest you look up websites where they are live tutors and here in OpenStudy it's different because yes I will admit there is people who are qualified to help you and they are teachers ect but most of them are just students just like yourself and I. In this website they can decide whether to answer your question or not. But you don't need any help now do you?
You have to understand that people on OpenStudy have lives. We are not teachers or robots on here. People come on OpenStudy to help there peers because they want to. Most of them dont get paid, or even given a thank you. Also, people are logged in to OpenStudy but maybe are near the computer, tablet, etc. I get a lot of tags when im eating or when im cleaning. So, you cant expect to tag someone and have them come straight away.
Exactly what I was trying to tell her.. just in another way. People don't get paid to answer other people's questions on here and most of them like @KendrickLamar2014 said don't even thank them they just want the answers and then they leave, they don't even want an explanation and a lot of the times the people that are helping them just give them the answers without an explanation because they are either too lazy or too busy.
1st) no tag
2nd) looks like question is not complete we need more information.
I'll make an offer, tell me what you think:
[offer only available for Mathematics atm]
Share your question Via the Twitter button, or tag @OpenStudy on Twitter with the link to your question --
**Then I swear that I @sleepyhead314 or @jigglypuff314 (the QH) will come help on your question **
[or at least message you personally with other resources (like wolframalpha) if the question is beyond our comprehension.]
this is a promise to give people help on their question - not in a timely manner (maybe within 24hours?) as we have school and classes too ^_^"
but at least it's something right?
This is all on me and is something I'm willing to do for people,
I apologize for those people who do not have a Twitter, and sorry that Facebook doesn't have anywhere as good of a search system.
What do you think about this offer?
[sorry if anything I said was confusing... i'm not exactly awake atm] :P
It also depends on the subject, math is by far the most active subject and you'll get help there faster.
But you need to make sure to post a complete question to get any help at all.
"I left my question open with the 5 or 10 people that I tagged and turned off my computer hoping that I would get the help."
Unless it's a particularly interesting question, if the person who asked isn't around, I don't bother. But if you absolutely must leave your question, at least say something about what you tried, what you don't understand, or where you got stuck.
