Need Help ASAP!!! The Supreme Court's decision in the Plessy v. Ferguson case had a long-lasting effect on race relations in America. Which statement best describes its impact? A. Blacks were permitted to share railway cars with whites in the South. B. Segregation in the South was determined to be legal. C. The court declared that the 14th Amendment was unconstitutional. D.     This case (Plessy v. Ferguson) basically created the "separate but equal" mentality towards blacks, which you will here constantly. It allowed segregation as long as they were equal. An example is separate bathrooms for whites and blacks, so long as they were both kept clean in an equal manner. This obviously was abused and whites were still the prominent figure in the south. To answer your question I would choose B based on the information I have layed out
