please help will give meda!!! In the diagram, BE is perpendicular to AC.AG=6, DG=3, AG = 6, DG = 3, and CD = 10. If BG = 8 and EG = 4, calculate the area of ABCDE.

    there is an error in calculation because also DE=sqrt(3^2+4^2)=5

    @surjithayer in your earlier calculation you were assuming that AED was a right angle, but it cannot be with the dimensions given, as you noticed. I agree the second calculation finds the answer and does not make any unwarranted assumptions.

    yes ,you are correct. nothing is said about angle ADE.
