A ball is thrown 28.85 meters horizontally. It has an original velocity in the "X" direction of 11m/s find the time the ball was in the air and the theight in the "Y" direction.

    CORRECTION ITS 24.85meter INSTEAD OF 28.85meter

    to the horizontal direction since there is no acceleration with use of S=ut you can find the time spent

    the same time which is found from the above method is taken for the ball to reach the ground from top. Since at the start the balll only had a horizontal velocity (no vertical velocity) you can use another equation to find the travelled vertical distance by applying the equation to the vertical direction
