    \[\huge\rm Ax^2+Bx+C=0\] this is standard form of quadratic equation to use quadratic formula we need an equation equal to 0 (in standard ) form so \[3x^2=20-7x\] set it equal to zero move all terms from right to left side

    C : A = 3 B = 7 C = -20

    a=leading coefficient(coefficient of highest degree variable ) b= middle term ( coefficient of x term) c=constant (number without any variable)

    0 = 20 - 7x - 3x^2 then * -1 and get 3x^2 + 7x -20 A = 3 B = 7 C = -20
