The Smiths plan to recarpet their family room, which measures 15 ft. by 20 ft. How many square yards of carpet are needed? 30 33 300

    Area = L*W which gives you 300 Ft sq, you need to turn that into sq yards

    well actually 33 won't recarpet the room... but anyway... what's a hole in the carpet matter.... perhaps you should raise this with your teacher... you actually need 33 1/3 sq yards so you would probably order 34 sq yards... that way there aren't any holes
