The first and second ones would be correct because of the following reasons: A. You would multiply 2 x 3y which would get you 6y-5x. B. They gave you the expression 6y-5x, however 6y would be a positive number because there's no negative in front of it, and -5x would be a negative because there's the - located in front of the 5x. Therefore, they just rearranged the problems to give you -5x + 6y.

@bgun111, Please make sure to provide help rather than direct answers, otherwise you could be suspended from using OpenStudy due to the terms and conditions. However, @Ms-Brains, the answer would be 3x+4 because you would do 3^2=9 14-2=12 12/3=4 (9-6)x + 12/3 (3)x+4

Honestly, I've been looking over the answers and I actually think the answers would be A and C. The answers that @doddododo provided do not make sense at all.

I'll try my best with this problem, I haven't done this kind of work for a while. You're given the equation \[D=M/V\] The problem says M = 5g and V= 10mL. This would give you the equation: \[5g/10mL\] Since "g" is the numerator, and "mL" is in the denominator, the answer would be D because that's the only answer with "g" on top, and "mL" on the bottom.
