They're much more advanced. The ones in the 1950's just played pong and games. They could search but It costed alot of electricity. Today however, It costs less due to the goverment lowering it. The computers from back then also made this sound that's loud when you booted it up. I also think there was the first Emailing program but I'm not sure on that one. Modern computers- Much more advanced. It needs minimal wifi to search. Even 2 bars can search but It takes alittle. The electricity usage was lowered. Also back then only about 10 people we're using the old computers. There is apps depending on what computer you have, there are more computer types, When there we're old computers It was only about 1 or 3 types, however today there are over 500+ computer types. Also in this modern age you can build a computer instead of buying one. It boosts the computer alot, that is If you get the right parts for it. I hope this explained the diffrences.
