|dw:1446827728775:dw| if you count the width of the front side it has 6 units of length and back 5 units so i think the circled segment should be there

@BAdhi , I see. @Michele_Laino , correct view ?
Michele_Laino

The only difference I see ,is the color. and now how will I get the side view from the elevation and plan ?
Michele_Laino
  • Michele_Laino
please, you have to consider only the blue lines in my second drawing
Michele_Laino

@Michele_Laino,|dw:1446828138150:dw| @BADhi, Ok, the two vertical lines aren't the same length are they ?
BAdhi

Is there any tutorial on using the symmetry lines ?
Michele_Laino
  • Michele_Laino
I don't know
BAdhi
  • BAdhi
thats why i said that they should stop at same height.. so from the ground they stop at 4.5mm (or somewhere around that) |dw:1446828504911:dw|
BAdhi
  • BAdhi
well i dont recommend to draw from the symmetry lines.. what i suggest is that you try your best to imagine how it should look like and after drawing you can verify with use of symmetry lines

@BAdhi , my professor didn't explain symmetry lines well.
Michele_Laino
  • Michele_Laino
yes! I agree with @BAdhi , imagination is very helpful!!

Ok, I 've problem in imaging this very particular side in this particular problem

dont worry jst keep on trying and avoid using shortcuts specially when you are still practicing.. After all "real" drawings are way more harder than this... ;)

@BAdhi , shortcuts = xD I am watching tutorials to understand symmetry lines https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGusKzEn8Gk
