I would first right 1q+12-2(q-22)>0 Because it is nice to have that '1' in front of that leading coefficient of 'q', so it doesn't look so isolated and scary. Then, let's apply that '2' to the function of (q-22) So we will have

IF AND ONLY IF *****you DIVIDE or MULTIPLY by a NEGATIVE NUMBER you MUST ALWAYS FLIP THE INEQUALITY SIGN THE OPPOSITE WAY*****
