use this example to calculate yours: mean of 4,11 and 14... arithmetic mean of 4 and 11 and 14 = add the terms... then divide by the number of terms (4 + 11 + 14)/ 3 terms = 29/3 geometric mean of 4 and 11 and 14 = multiply the terms... then find the nth root where n is the number of terms cube root of (4 x 11 x 14) = cube root of 616
