Why do you think B is the correct answer?

I thought if I dived the total amount of miles that need to be driven by the number of miles per hour then subtract 20 I would get the answer...but I got a negative number. So I dived the total amount of miles that needed to be driven by the number of miles driven per hour and got 5 and something( it was a decimal). I don't know what to do to solve this.

Okay, so if you've already driven 20 miles and you started at 295. You subtract 295 from 20 and get 275 miles left. Then you take 60 minutes because 1 hour = 60 minutes. Multiply 60 by 5 and you get 300. Now, you take 300 and divide it by 55 (the speed you are going) when you do this what do you get?

By the way, you were doing it correct. When you get a decimal, you sometimes just round it and in this case you have 5.45 repeating, so round it to 5 and there's your answer. Don't doubt yourself, you did a good job!
