If the independent variable is the velocity \(v\), then the grpah which represents the relation: \(f(v)=mv^2/r\) is a quadratic parabola, namely a non-linear graph. In such formula, the distance \(r\) is considered as a simple parameter, so, more precisely, we can write this: \(f_r(v)=mv^2/r\)
