i can barley hear you but so far you are good for a alto 2 good job
You sound very nice if you would stop cutting off! You did a great job though!
Alright, prepare yourself for some actual critiquing. First, off I think you're voice definitely has potential. It also sounds pretty young. Your tone quality's not too bad, but the strength of the notes just isn't there and because of that you tend to lose the quality of pitch and a little tone. Try not to force a vibrato. I know you want to sound like the latest pop star but if you want your voice to develop properly, you don't want to force much of anything. I say this to a lot of people but I promise it will help, practice long, clear tones in scales or even just simple songs in long clear tones. Adding style is fine as long as you've got the other qualities of a good singer to back it up. Hope this helps.
Excuse me, let me get a word in here. Okay, so firstly you have a very lovely voice. Its unique and it's peaceful in a way to listen to. But there are some things to be understood with regard to how you are singing. I think there is some problem with the way you are trying to achieve the style of the song. You're doing something that you can't do to well and this is because you aren't aware of your limits. The first recording sounded perfect and within range for your vocals, the second recording I think you were attempting to be Ellie Goulding to much and trust me, there is nothing wrong with trying to sing a song of hers in her style but you forced yourself a bit to the point of it sounding off. It sounded pushed, it didn't sound natural, and there was some sense of strain going on. Like I said there is nothing wrong with singing whatever song you want, but you have to do it properly without forcing yourself. I say this as a helpful critique and from my own experience, not as someone wishing to merely talk down to you or be bossy. Let me be honest...I loooovee Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Celion Dion, Adele, and Demi Lovato. But I CANNOT sing like all of them as I wish I could. I've tried and tried and would get so frustrated because I wouldn't get nowhere. Then I realized, I simply need to sing my own natural way. I'm pointing that out because of the Ellie Goulding cover that you did. I sensed that you tried to sound to much like her and you have to switch that around. Its those high notes, you gotta practice exercises to get to those notes, it doesn't just happen. Here, take a look at this. Go up and down the whole thing and find which area's you stop at. Once you've figured that out, look up some exercises you can use that work naturally with your vocals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IejHKpfHso Second point, is about your vibrato. Now, I know this was already talked of in the above comment but I just want to add one thing. Firstly, your vibrato is really nice actually. I've always appreciated vibrato. Its a nice effect that can be harmful or beautiful. In this case, as good as yours is, you tend to add it at all the wrong parts, and at all the wrong times. You have to learn how to sing a song properly before adding such a lil nuiance. Third point, you've gotta instill POWER into those notes and that voice. Problem one, your to quiet. Problem two, I can seriously hear an issue thats going on in your voice. This issue is that you're falling back into your larynx and not using the proper muscles to sing. The result of this is strain that is clearly audible to others, and a certain weakness in your notes. You also have issues with reaching both high and lower notes. Want to know how to fix that? This guy... Roger Burnley. http://singing-made-simple.com/ All you have to do is put your email in and get the answer to all this. Roger has saved not only my voice, but my life. I've always had a weak voice, but it got stronger once I started under his coaching. As stated before, this is all to try and help you. I think you have a wonderful voice and its only going to mature and get better both as you get older and as you learn how to sing properly and with more clarity. Sorry for my rant, but hope you have a good day!! :)

It's good, but you're not using your diaphragm which is why you're so quiet. You're voice has great potential.
