Alright, our starting value is: 800,000, the final value is 900,000 Percentage increase can be found by taking the difference between 900,000 and 800,000 So... 900,000 - 800,0000 = 100,000 We know now the increase was $100,000 Divide this value by the original/starting value ($800,000) and then * 100. \[(100,000 \div 800,000) \times 100 = 12.5\]
