Lord of the flies Amazeing book so read it:D
The stealing of Piggy's glasses shows the true dominating force Jack possesses. Scholars have suggested the capture of this fire starting tool is an allusion to the Greek myth of Prometheus stealing the fire from the gods and giving it to man. Also, without his glasses, Piggy is blind which...
And yes D is correct
what number is that tho dont know if it's right im checking ym answer book
@Vickyisthesmartone123 Number 11
ok hold on let me check
I believe that Piggy’s glasses mean much more than just piggy's eye sight. I also believe it symbolize hope life and the ability to see through tough spots and to make things more clear. It symbolizes hope of the kids on the island because without a fire and its smoke there is nothing that could same them from the island that is slowly killing them off one by one. It symbolizes life because without fire there is no way to cook the food, without fire there is nothing to give them warmth in times of cold, without fire they have no light to guide them to safety in dark times. Without Piggy's glasses there is on fire, no life or hope. Without Piggy's glasses the brains of Ralph’s group is now blinded and can't help as much anymore. Since Piggy's glasses were stolen Ralph's tribe is hopeless, dead, and now blind to what is to happen. However Jack's tribe has stolen Ralph's tribe lives, all of their hope, and their ability to see what they do. So they now have all of the things they need to live their "savage" lives. Now there is no hope for the reader because we have attached ourselves to Ralph and his idea of his person. This greatly affects he reader’s mood to this story and their mood to jack and his tribe.
