I'm trying to set it up, I've put 3.4=log(x) but I don't know what to put for x?? It says x = ratio of earthquake intensity to a minimum level of intensity. what does that mean?
well the lowest level of intensity in a earthquake is obviously 0 and the highest to date was a 9.5 on the richter scale in shile in 1960, but im not sure if that would help much
