One way the Constitution reflects the principle of checks and balances is in the way bills are passed. Every Bill that passes the House of Representatives and the Senate has to be signed by the President before it becomes law. If the President does not sign the bill, it returns to the Congress to be reconsidered. hope this helps if not im sorry
