btw 8 divided by -2/3 is the same as \[8\times (-\frac{3}{2})\]

You don't have to be rude about it; I didn't know how to divide a whole number by a fraction.

it is whole number arithmetic what is 8 divided by 2 is 4 right? then \(4\times (-3)=-12\) so \[8\times (-\frac{3}{2})=4\times (-3)=-12\] not a calculator exercise
