8 - 0 over 0 - 8 = 8/-8 which equals to -1 -1 is the slope :)

if your using point slope form, thee can be 2 answers (8,0) y - 0 = -1(x - 8) or (0,8) y - 8 = -1(x - 0) you can use either one of your set of points
