"per" means divide the unit rate is the number of feet per (one) hour You are given 450ft You are given 3/8 hour so divide number of feet / number of hours that is your answer
You are given 450ft You are given 3/8 hour so divide number of feet / number of hours that is your answer
hurry I will medal and fan
YOU hurry - do the division that I gave you above You are not allowed to ask for answers on this site
so divide number of feet (450) / number of hours(3/8)
OK good - the number is correct the answer requires you to put the units with it 120 what?
is it rite
no the required unit is given in the question... (please don't ignore this - units ARE important they help you to place the numbers correctly in other equations)
@MrNood A CD makes 58 1/2 revolutions in 3/4 min. Complete the unit rate. ______revolutions/min
you haven't finished the last one yet it asks you for the unit rate it is 120 what?
The whole point of unit rates is to get something like "miles per hour" i.e the distance traveled in ONE hour you have divided feet by hours to find the distance travelled in ONE hour so what is the corect unit for the answer? (the answer is in the question - but it IS part of the requirement to get this question correct) 120 what??
Just take a moment to READ the question again the required unit is GIVEN in the question, but must be written in oyur answer for it to be correct. 120 is correct but 120 WHAT?
from the question: "Complete the unit rate. ____ft/hour"
okie so what @MrNood is asking is what units would you use for the answer 120 you got so what you have done now is DIVIDED the FT by the HOUR and so the units would include both of the things you used to get the answer
is this homework or an online class? and you work out the next question the same way
tagging more people will not grant you an automatic answer, I suggest you take the advices and help given by @MrNood and work with that.
