The whole point of unit rates is to get something like "miles per hour" i.e the distance traveled in ONE hour you have divided feet by hours to find the distance travelled in ONE hour so what is the corect unit for the answer? (the answer is in the question - but it IS part of the requirement to get this question correct) 120 what??
MrNood
  • MrNood
Just take a moment to READ the question again the required unit is GIVEN in the question, but must be written in oyur answer for it to be correct. 120 is correct but 120 WHAT?
MrNood
  • MrNood
from the question: "Complete the unit rate. ____ft/hour"
Ramzy197
  • Ramzy197
okie so what @MrNood is asking is what units would you use for the answer 120 you got so what you have done now is DIVIDED the FT by the HOUR and so the units would include both of the things you used to get the answer
